Sad Update…

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our very wonderful audio engineer Bill Moraites.Bill left us on Mother’s Day this year (2021) after a six week battle with Covid-19. It took a long time for us to process our grief. Bill was a musician par excellence, his guitar playing was sumptuous and moving. Beyond that he was as truly decent a human being as we have ever had the chance to call friend. To say that he will be missed is an understatement.

Sadly “Shattered Reality Podcast” has been on hiatus since March when Bill fell ill. We still have two unpublished episodes which we hope to bring to you shortly. We will also seek to archive the shows which have been published.

When that is accomplished we would like to continue our broadcast. Thanks for being a listener.

It was so much fun to interact with these two enormously talented gentlemen, Jimmy Fallon and Blake Shelton. Many thanks to the entire crew and production team. They could not have been nicer. 🙂

Near-death researcher and experiencer  P.M.H. Atwater explains the ins and outs of the near death experience to Kate and Fahrusha. What are the aftereffects of the experience? What different types of experiences are there? Some people go for prolonged periods without breathing but suffer no brain damage. Often experiencers report seeing religious figures from a religion other than their own. Unpleasant experiences (hellish) are reported but are not necessarily considered “bad” but rather instructive or helpful.

P.M.H. Atwater is the author of a number of excellent books. The book on which we focused in this episode was: Near-Death Experiences, The Rest of the Story, however she is a prolific author, with many other worthwhile titles to her credit.

Kate Valentine and Fahrusha welcome Todd Robbins of Investigation Discovery Channel’s True Nightmares to “Shattered Reality Podcast”.

Fahrusha has known Todd for at least 25 years. They have worked together at events. She was both happy and surprised to learn that he was hosting a new TV program featuring bizarre but true stories that could definitely keep you up at night due to their uncanny and grisly nature. Clearly he was a natural for “Shattered Reality Podcast”.

Todd Robbins is a magician and side show artiste who had a very successful Off-Broadway show called Play Dead written by Robbins and Teller of Penn & Teller. Todd is quite simply one fascinating guy.
