#108 Sean McNamara & Michael Redmond

Author Sean McNamara

On July 28, 2020 Fahrusha welcomed Sean McNamara to “Shattered Reality Podcast.” Sean is a meditation teacher, a remote viewer and an author of several books. Fahrusha and Sean discussed his autobiographical book Renegade Mystic: The Pursuit of Spiritual Freedom Through Consciousness Exploration.

Sean grew up in a family that lived in different parts of the world which was exciting, culturally expanding but sometimes led to a feeling of displacement. Because of some medical emergencies, he feared death. Once stateside, as a young adult he sought community and spiritual enlightenment, but learned that gurus can often have clay feet.

“For most of my life I’ve been seeking, spiritually,” said Sean. So with those words “Shattered Reality Podcast” listeners know they will have something very much in common with Sean McNamara.

Michael Redmond was a fascinating guest on the Listeners’ Corner portion of the show with his account of a double sighting of a UFO in NJ. It was a double sighting in two ways. He saw it with his wife and they saw it twice on the same evening. Michael is a distinguished journalist and runs the Facebook page Fringe Quest which is a roundup of paranormal news.

To end the show, Fahrusha told of an unusual case of telekinesis in her sleeping quarters. Perhaps it was her reading material or perhaps it was the late Alan Colmes.

The lamp lifted up and fell in a most unusual manner whilst Fahrusha slept.
Nothing broke!

We welcome your polite comments on this page and invite you to submit your paranormal experiences to fahrusha@fahrusha.com. You can tell them on the show yourself or have Fahrusha read your account. Thanks for listening!

#91 Dale E. Graff on Remote Viewing and Dreams

Picture of the interviewee

Dale E. Graff, author, engineer, physicist, contract manager for Project Stargate and prodigious dreamer

Fahrusha was thrilled to welcome Dale E. Graff to Shattered Reality Podcast. For several years she has been an appreciative audience to his presentations at symposia of IRVA (International Remote Viewing Association) APP (Applied Precognition Project) and SSE (Society for Scientific Exploration). Dale is the author of two books: Tracks In The Psychic Wilderness (1998) and River Dreams (2000) as well as numerous papers.

Dale E. Graff is a physicist (Drexel) and an aeronautical engineer (Pennsylvania State University). He helped design the Gemini Space Capsule and did pre-planning for the space shuttle. He is an avid outdoorsman who has navigated many Canadian rivers in a canoe, this in spite of having been born a premature baby who was declared dead upon arrival. He was totally determined to defy the odds and still displays great vitality today as he approaches his 85th birthday.

Even as a small child he was a prodigious dreamer and had out of body experiences. After elementary school he began his serious interest in science, which eventually took him to Wright-Paterson Air Force Base where he wrote a forecast document on the Soviet use of ESP research. Through a synchronicity, this led him to become first a contract manager and later a tasker for government remote viewing projects including Project Stargate which he named.

Today Dale E. Graff is retired from that work, but ardently pursuing dream research and asking important questions about the nature of consciousness. We at Shattered Reality Podcast are hoping to have Dale back soon for Part 2, which will focus on dreaming, the nature of consciousness and how to dream more proficiently.

Note: The anti-fragility proponent mentioned by Fahrusha is Wim Hof.

Listeners who wish to participate in our “Listeners’ Corner” feature are asked to contact Fahrusha (fahrusha@fahrusha.com) and put “Listeners’ Corner” in subject heading.

movie image

Third Eye Spies is the new movie from the father of remote viewing Russell Targ and film maker Lance Mungia

On May 14, 2019, Fahrusha was very pleased to welcome physicist Russell Targ and filmmaker Lance Mungia to “Shattered Reality Podcast” to discuss their film Third Eye Spies. The film chronicles the story of the government’s remote viewing program with emphasis on viewer Pat Price and the role of physicists Russell Targ and Hal Puthoff. Many accounts of events in and around the movie were discussed that were absolutely fascinating. Many of the people discussed in the film are still in the forefront of psi research today while others remain totally anonymous. What actually happened to the amazing Pat Price is still something of a mystery, since there a number of conflicting narratives regarding his death. The film is available for sale through the website, and on rental and download from Amazon, iTunes, and other vendors.

Sad note: Yesterday the world of ufology lost a legend, nuclear physicist Stanton T. Friedman. Rest In Peace. He was a very approachable and friendly man whose contribution the study of anomalous aerial phenomena. I feel privileged to have met him and spoken to him several times.

#58 Marty Rosenblatt Associative Remote Viewing

Marty Rosenblatt of the Applied Precognition Project

Listen HERE

Kate Valentine and Fahrusha welcome Marty Rosenblatt to “Shattered Reality Podcast”. Marty is the founder of the Applied Precognition Project. The “Applied Precognition Project’s mission is to publicly explore, research and apply logic and intuition/emotion to predict future event outcomes, enabling participants to evolve personally while contributing to the elevation of global consciousness.” APP has several different groups of viewers who remotely view different sorts of future events that can generate money, such as the stock market or sports events. ARV usually has a binary approach wherein two very different photo scenes are used to represent an up or down or yes or no type outcome unrelated pictorially to the photos. The APP also has several other groups, including the “Sublime” group which focuses on remote viewing from the dream state co-ordinated by Nancy Smith, a friend of SRP.

We spoke to Marty about his method of Associative Remote Viewing and related scientific concepts such as retro-causation and quantum entanglement. He spoke about the basic precepts of ARV. He is very conversant in interesting theories about consciousness and shared some with us.

We went on to speak about Hal Puthoff’s participation in Tom Delonge’s “To The Stars Academy” and other puzzling conundrums.

In the Listeners’ Corner we spoke of listener June Ponte’s art show and read a selection of the excellent children’s book Imagine If Thoughts Were Balloons illustrated by listener Diane Waybright. This book demonstrates a very compassionate way to help children to choose their thoughts consciously.

#52 Brenda Dunne- the PEAR Lab and More

Brenda Dunne, Co-Author of Molecular Memories and lab manager at the PEAR Lab

to listen click HERE.

Kate Valentine and Fahrusha welcome Brenda Dunne lab manager of the PEAR (Princeton Engineering Anomalies Research) Lab to Shattered Reality Podcast. Fahrusha was lucky to meet Brenda Dunne and Dr. Robert Jahn at this year’s SSE Symposium at Yale in June. Brenda Dunne was given the Founder’s Award this year at the Symposium.

In this episode, Brenda talks in detail about the workings of the PEAR Lab, remote viewing, REGs (Random Event Generators) and RNGs (Random Number Generators), and what it is like working for more than 40 years with Dr. Robert Jahn. She also spoke of the beginnings of the SSE. Fahrusha and Kate Valentine are both Associate Members. Much of the Lab’s work with the REGs centered around getting a statistically significant result from the machine when a person or persons concentrated on doing so, or when an unusual and emotionally affecting event occurred in the environment, locally or worldwide.

Since the closing of the PEAR Lab, Dunne and Jahn have continued their work together at the International Consciousness Research Laboratories (ICRL). The ICRL publishes books on consciousness research. Together, Jahn and Dunne have written five books together including Molecular Memories (2015), Quirks of the Quantum Mind (2012), Consciousness and the Source of Reality (2011), Filters and Reflections: Perspectives on Reality with Zachary Jones (2009), and Margins of Reality (1987).

Fahrusha spoke about a precognitive dream she had about being in New Haven directly before the SSE Symposium.

Brenda Dunne, M.S. holds degrees in psychology and the humanities from  Mundelein College in Chicago (1976), and a M.S. in Human Development from the  University of Chicago (1979).

#42 Psychic Experiences of Psi Explorers

In this podcast episode #42, Kate Valentine and Fahrusha speak to two Psi Explorers and one listener about their personal psychic experiences.

Russell Targ and Fahrusha at the 2016 SSE Symposium (courtesy of Rosanna Schaffer-Shaw)

First up is Russell Targ, formerly of the Stanford Research Institute, and one of the originators of remote viewing. His two stories of his own precognitive dreams are thought-provoking. He emphasizes that psychic dreams and other psi phenomena are normal and these experiences can be had by anyone. We just need to be attentive to them.

Russell Targ’s latest book The of Reality of ESP, A Physicist’s Proof of Psychic Abilities is an excellent book explaining several different but related psi abilities and substantial examples from his professional experience. A trailer for his movie about the history of the US government’s Remote Viewing program and his participation in it can be seen at the website thirdeyespies.com.

Dr. Michael Grosso, author of "The Man Who Could Fly"

Dr. Michael Grosso, author of “The Man Who Could Fly”

Next up is Dr. Michael Grosso who tells two stories from his own collection of personal psychic experiences. The first is the story of a beautiful Christmas miracle (I can’t tell you more because that would be a spoiler) and the second is a precognitive dream he had as a child. His most recent book is The Man Who Could Fly: St. Joseph of Copertino and the Mystery of Levitation.

Listener Peter completes this episode with a very strange ghostly experience he had at the illustrious old Hotel Del Coronado in California in the early 1990’s.

Notes: During the episode Fahrusha mentioned an opinion piece on her blog which was reprinted by George Filer on Filer’s Files. We want to also thank Ken Pfeifer for also reprinting it. The article is called Extraterrestrial Evolution.

Dr. Claude Swanson, author and physicist

Kate Valentine and Fahrusha welcome Dr. Claude Swanson to “Shattered Reality Podcast”. He discusses a number of fascinating phenomena that are not explainable by Western physics and posits an alternative theory of subtle energy and torsion.

We discuss many topics including time travel, remote viewing, UFOs, psychokinesis, out of body experiences and more; all in the context of a different picture of physics. We could have talked to Dr. Swanson for two days straight and still have more topics to cover. Dr. Swanson’s books are The Synchronized Universe: New Science of the Paranormal and Life Force: The Scientific Basis. He is writing a third volume centering on the physics of the soul and the afterlife. His website is http://synchronizeduniverse.com.

Dr. Swanson grew up in Virginia. He studied physics at M.I.T. and went on to get his Ph.D. at Princeton, working with Nobel Laureate Robert Dicke. He did post graduate work at both Princeton and Cornell. Later he formed his own consulting firm and worked on applied physics projects for a number of corporate and government entities.

This podcast was recorded on November 1, 2016.

Russell Targ, renowned physicist and author, joins Kate Valentine and Fahrusha for an amazing conversation about remote viewing. This episode is a MUST listen.  Shattered Reality Podcast is honored to present this psychic pioneer and his fascinating story about his seminal work in remote viewing as a contractor for several clandestine alphabet agencies.

Targ is the author of nine books. His latest The Reality of ESP: A Physicist’s Proof of Psychic Abilities he feels is most complete, partially due to the fact that he was able to include both photos and information that were previously, but no longer, classified. He is also the producer of a new film titled Third Eye Spies which is due for release at the end of the year. Fahrusha has seen two iterations of the film in progress and hails it as an important historical document and a gripping narrative of psychic espionage. The award-winning director of the film is Lance Mungia.

One quote from the movie’s home page sums up Russell Targ’s  point of view about remote viewing, “The CIA, NSA and DIA used it, your tax dollars paid for it, and now you deserve to know about it.”

Paul H. Smith joins Kate Valentine and Fahrusha for a lively discussion about remote viewing. Turns out he knows quite a bit about UFOs and about dowsing too.
He has written the award winning book Reading the Enemys Mind: Inside Star Gate Americas Psychic Espionage Program (Tor/Forge 2005) which is currently out of print but available as a used book. His new book, The Essential Guide to Remote Viewing is coming out soon.

Paul H. Smith became a psychic spy in 1983, when he was recruited for the Army’s remote viewing psychic espionage program — a program he never knew existed up until the moment he was invited to join.  He was one of the longest-serving remote viewers in the military program. During his seven years in that program, he studied under the legendary
Hal Puthoff, Ingo Swann, and Skip Atwater; served as a first-line operational remote viewer doing thousands of training and live operational RV sessions, wrote the official manual on controlled remote viewing, and taught CRV to new remote viewing candidates.  Among his students are included now-famous remote viewers such as Lyn Buchanan, Mel Riley, and David Morehouse.  Paul has briefed and demonstrated remote viewing to senators, admirals and generals, and other senior military and government officials.  A Desert Storm veteran, Paul retired from the US
Army in 1996 at the rank of major from his final duty position, chief of intelligence and security for the Military District of Washington.

Since 1997 he has been president and chief instructor of his own commercial full-service remote viewing training company, Remote Viewing Instructional Services, Inc., and is a founding director of the non-profit International Remote Viewing Association, of which he is past president.
