On March 3, 2021 Fahrusha welcomed the Paradigm Research Group‘s Executive Director Steven Bassett to “Shattered Reality Podcast”. He has proposed a new vocabulary to talk about UFOs and ETs and disclosure and he explains it all on our podcast as well on his new podcast called the Disclosure Wire. The main thrust of this vocabulary change is to not make enemies of the press and more importantly the US government. Fahrusha thought this was a very good idea for the most part.

Mr. Bassett is very sure that the origin of the “visitors” to Earth are from some other planetary system or systems. While Fahrusha found this entirely possible she was not as sure. Perhaps they are from the future or perhaps they are disembodied entities pretending to be aliens and ghosts. Fahrusha played the devil’s advocate.

They discussed the position of Harvard astronomer Dr. Avi Loeb on the recent visit of an interstellar object called Oumuamua. Dr. Loeb is of the opinion that the object may be an extraterrestrial probe, while Steve Bassett does not think so. He feels it is Dr. Loeb’s bid to be on the right side of impending disclosure. What is certainly true, as Bassett pointed out, is that the treatment of Dr. Avi Loeb by Harvard and the press has been far more accepting than the treatment of the late Professor John Edward Mack (October 4, 1929 – September 27, 2004). Mack was an American psychiatrist, writer, and professor and the head of the department of psychiatry at Harvard Medical School. In 1977, Mack won the Pulitzer Prize for his book A Prince of Our Disorder on T.E. Lawrence. He became very interested in people who had been contacted by possible extraterrestrials and researched and. wrote extensively about it.

#116 The Zanfretta Case with Rino Di Stefano

On February 6, 2021 Fahrusha interviewed Italian journalist and author Rino Di Stefano about his book, The Zanfretta Case: Chronicle of an Incredible True Story. A 26 year old security guard, Piero Fortunato Zanfretta, who in 1978 was a dependable employee and a married man with two children, had a series of astounding encounters with entities over a period of several years. Our guest, Rino Di Stefano, himself a budding journalist in Genoa at the time, had the courage and intellectual curiosity to take the report seriously and his honest investigation of the Zanfretta case forever changed his world view.

The aspect of the encounters that caused Rino to take the Zanfretta story seriously is the many corroborating reports from other eye witnesses both on the scene and in the surrounding area. Most particularly, one of the officers present in a later Zanfretta abduction was so unnerved that he could never return to work and subsequently took his own life by suicide. After a point Zanfretta himself might be said to have had a break from consensual reality, according to Di Stefano. Alien or entity abduction is not for the faint hearted. It has been known to “fry” brains. It does not necessarily follow that the entities are trying to be harmful. Simply put, the otherness of their consciousness, is beyond human understanding, and what is revealed may cause the experiencer to be unable to process their very different reality.

On Shattered Reality Podcast, we have had other entity experiencers tell their stories. They include: Calvin Parker, Lisette Larkins, and Terry Lovelace. In addition David Booher wrote about Gerry Irwin’s experience and Ron Felber wrote on The Mohave Incident. Piero Zanfretta’s experiences seem most like Calvin Parker‘s and Gerry Irwin’s. There are also aspects of this case that sync with the Travis Walton case. Prior to Zanfretta’s experiences we are told that neither Piero Zanfretta nor Rino Di Stefano were particularly interested in UFOs.

As people who are intrigued with anomalous phenomena it is necessary to carefully examine what is happening to others in cultures around the world. We thank Rino Di Stefano for presenting us with a window into this very strange and compelling account.

On May 19, 2020, Fahrusha spoke with Thiago Ticchetti from Brazil about UFOs. His new book is called UFO Contacts in Brazil and it is his first in English. It is over 500 pages long and is replete with many amazing photos and illustrations. He has written ten other books in Portuguese all about UFOs or OVNI as they are referred to in Spanish and Portuguese. People in the English speaking world may have misconceptions about UFOs in Latin America because of language issues.

Thiago explained that a recent report about a crashed saucer just north of Rio de Janeiro in the town of Mage was a total hoax and he tells us exactly why.

He has been interested in UFOs since childhood and he tells us about an early sighting he had. His father was an officer in the Brazilian Air Force and allowed him to sketch from the photos of the classified files of the Brazilian government. Later he was very inspired by the work of both A J Gevaerd, a Brazilian ufologist, and Jacques Vallee a French-American writer on the subject and physicist.

We discussed the various types of beings seen in Brazil, the most common of which is a variation of “the greys” well known in the US. These have a white pallor and different faces. The first famous abduction case in Brazil was that of a farmer named Antônio Villas Boas (1934–1991) whose case occurred in 1957 and included a sexual interaction with a female being. It occurred several years earlier than the Betty and Barney Hill abduction in 1961 in New England.

Children in the Sagrada Familia neighborhood had a credible sighting of a cyclops robot that came out of a UFO. It was credible because the otherwise adventurous kids totally changed their habits after their terrifying experience.

We also talked about the Varginha Incident and what happened on the island of Colares, which killed a number of denizens.

Thiago Luiz Ticchetti is an adherent of the “nuts and bolts” theory of UFOs, believing they come from other worlds in space.

#98 Dr. Michael Cremo: anomalous discoveries in paleontology

Dr. Michael Cremo is co-author of the book Forbidden Archeology and other books about anomalies in archaeology and paleontology.

On January 7, 2020 Fahrusha welcomed Dr. Michael Cremo to “Shattered Reality Podcast” to discuss his anomalous discoveries in paleontology and archaeology. Over the course of an hour he spoke of a few of the voluminous findings of human bones and artifacts that have been dated much earlier than commonly accepted.

The first subject, we discussed was ‘knowledge filtration’, a term describing how scientists react to different categories of evidence that do not agree with their theories. This affects almost all studies in parapsychology, UFOs and much of the research into the nature of consciousness.

Forbidden Archeology argues against the current scientific paradigm that modern homo sapiens is 300,000 years old. We also talked about artifacts such as lithic spheres from Costa Rica and hematite grooved spheres from South Africa that are two billion eight hundred million years old. Some evidence has disappeared from view that contradicts the current scientific paradigm of the age of modern humans.

Sierra Nevada Mountains in Western US is a location where human skeletal remains and artifacts were found in strata that were 15 million years old. Cremo deals with extreme human antiquity and leaves the study of alternative history of more recent civilization (20,000- 50,000 years old) on Earth to others, though he finds it compelling.

Ellora Cave Temples in northwestern India may be examples from India of extreme human antiquity. Vimāna are pictured on the walls of those temples. Vimāna are flying palaces or chariots described in Hindu texts and Sanskrit epics. They may be identical with current UFOs. Michael describes three different types of vimāna of different material density.

On June 18, 2019 Fahrusha welcomed Romanian scientist and author Dan Farcas, PhD to “Shattered Reality Podcast”. We discussed his latest book, Hypercivilizations: An Answer to ET Contacts on Earth. The approach of the book is a synthesis of many years of thought and study in various allied areas of scientific analysis as regards possible extraterrestrial civilizations. His conclusions are well researched and I recommend that listeners take the time to understand what is being said.

Additionally we discussed artificial intelligence, tall blonde humanoids and the importance of love (in the sense of agape) and good will. He asserts that alien intelligence may be billions of years beyond us and must be benevolent. There are 11 chapters in the book, any of which could yield an hour long discussion for “Shattered Reality Podcast”.

Our Listeners’ Corner featured Christopher Rex speaking about a powerful near death experience (NDE) he had as a teenager in New Braunfels, Texas. He was swimming in a dangerous location with friends and drowned. Listeners will find this account quite compelling.

Fahrusha was happy to welcome Greg Bishop and Adam Gorightly authors of the entertaining book named A is for Adamski: The Golden Age of the UFO Contactees. The contactees are people who claim (largely) benevolent contact with the denizens of flying saucers. Their heyday was in the 1950s, but there were contactees before Roswell and after the fifties into the current period.

The book is arranged alphabetically by the person and there is a photo for each entry. There is a kitsch element to these photos that is definitely entertaining and fun. We spoke extensively about the reality or lack thereof of these experiences. I tried to make a possible connection between contactees and near death experiencers and to a lesser extent remote viewers.

There are many overlaps between different people in the book as some of them knew one another, especially those that gathered with Adamski and VanTassel at Giant Rock in the southern California desert over the years. There are also many questions about the honesty of some of the most notorious of the people profiled, but by and large, most were sincere. It must be understood that what ever they encountered had to be processed by the reducing valve of their brains which may have overlaid the experience with something familiar or understandable to them.

Kudos also to Douglas Curran whose photos inspired the book.

#77 Mary Rose Barrington and Psychokinesis

Fahrusha and “Shattered Reality Podcast” were pleased to welcome Mary Rose Barrington to “Shattered Reality Podcast”. Mary Rose has been both a solicitor and a barrister in Great Britain as well as a President of the Oxford University Society for Psychical Research. She is now listed as a Vice President of the Society for Psychical Research of Great Britain. Her new book, J.O.T.T. (Just One of Those Things) is published by Anomalist Books.

We discussed a number of instances of simple household psychokinesis that were included in the book and which were studiously collected by Mary Rose over years of research. She has classified these instances of psychokinesis she calls Jottles into categories: Flyaway, Windfall, Comeback, Walkabout and Trade-In. The Flyaway is an item that simply vanishes and as such it is hardest to prove because one could have simply lost it. The Windfall is some object that appears in a place where it is unknown to have been and is not recognized by the householder. One person’s Flyaway could be another’s Windfall. An example of this would be if the can opener disappears from Linda’s kitchen (Flyaway) and appears on Joe’s doorstep a mile away (Windfall). Not all Windfalls can be traced to point of origin however and Windfalls are also know in psychical research as apports. The Comeback is a Flyaway that comes back to the location from which it has vanished at a later point in time, after the area has been thoroughly searched. A Walkabout is an item which appears in a place where it wasn’t put by the owner or anyone else and to be interesting appears in an impossible location. Finally, a Trade-In is when a similar but different object is found in the place of the one that has gone missing.

We also discussed possible reasons for these phenomena. The fundamental reality is consciousness, and the mind controls the matter, opines Mary Rose Barrington; and we do not disagree. Fahrusha gave an account of an unusual jottle that happened to her nearly 20 years ago.

Avrel Seale is a seasoned writer who lives in Texas and has an abiding interest in Sasquatch (also known as Bigfoot). A father of three Boy Scouts, he is an avid and observant hiker. He believes he has found substantive evidence of the creature in Sam Houston National Forest an hour north of Houston. For his fiftieth birthday he decided to hike the full length of the Lone Star Trail by himself in search of the elusive hominid. His book Monster Hike: A 100-Mile Inquiry Into the Sasquatch Mystery (Anomalist Books) chronicles this adventure. In addition to Bigfoot he has written about the history of the area and the other natural features and creatures that abound there. If you are planning on looking for Sasquatch or Yeti, I recommend that you read this book before setting out. It is also of great interest to hikers or would-be tenderfoots like me. #67 Alien Abductee Terry Lovelace

Fahrusha and Kate Valentine were pleased to welcome Terry Lovelace, alien abductee and author of Incident at Devil’s Den to “Shattered Reality Podcast”. Terry’s story is so remarkable that we gave him a whole lot of room to tell his story. We’d like to have him back to answer our questions and any questions our listener’s would like to ask. Regretfully we lost Kate Valentine’s connection about 20 minutes into the show.

Terry Lovelace saw several UFOs as a child and saw grey alien beings in his childhood bedroom. After he joined the Air Force in the ’70s he worked as a medic. He and another medic and a number of other Air Force personnel witnessed an unknown diamond shaped craft hovering over a missile silo one freezing night in Missouri. Two years later he and his medic friend went on a camping trip to Arkansas’s Devil’s Den National Forest. There they witnessed a huge triangular craft hovering over a meadow where they had set up camp. The craft sent down laser like beams of light which appeared to inspect them. They retreated to their tent where they fell unconscious and woke up later to see the craft depart the meadow.

Crying and terrified, they got in their car, leaving behind all their camping gear. They drove back to the Air Force base with great haste, stopping only for beverages to slake their overwhelming thirst. Upon return, they were both hospitalized with skin burns and photophobia, an abnormal intolerance to visual perception of light. They were also separated and forbidden to interact with one another and one another’s families.

Subsequently, Terry was questioned by Air Force OSI officers under the influence of a truth serum-like drug. More recently he discovered a metal object in his knee along with several other objects through a series of x-rays at a veteran’s hospital. The metal object was later removed by the beings that put it there.

Terry Lovelace is a lawyer and former Assistant Attorney General of both Vermont and American Samoa.

Kate Valentine and Fahrusha, hosts of Shattered Reality Podcast, were pleased to welcome Terry Ray, author of The Complete Story of the Worldwide Invasion of the Orange Orbs, to discuss his theories about these orange orbs and the case histories he has investigated. The show started out with Fahrusha discussing the news of purported UFO disclosure revelations by former government operatives. This story is ongoing and we plan to keep on top of it.

Terry Ray is a former military pilot and trial lawyer, a retired law professor emeritus and a certified Field Investigator for MUFON. Terry became fascinated by the orange orbs after a multiple sighting while on vacation in Ocean City, Maryland. His book is divided into 3 sections: maps and statistics, case histories and conclusions. He has also written an entertaining science fiction novel entitled GXM731 as well as other works of fiction. Currently he is working on a new book which will explain his work with photographic evidence of the orbs and the filters he has used with those photographs.

In this episode we discuss Terry’s books, his views on the nature of the Orange Orbs, the source of the orbs and possible beings associated with them. He explains his ideas about the government’s role in disclosure versus “the others” apparently attempting to acclimatize the general population to seeing anomalous lights and craft in the skies of Earth. Overall this episode is thought-provoking and simultaneously entertaining, and while Terry’s theories are speculative they are well thought out and certainly far from impossible.
